Students from Daniélou (France), a sister school of LIX, recently visited Korea during their vacation to participate in an "International Exchange Eco-Cultural Program" hosted by the Bukhansan National Park Office.
The program was designed to introduce international youth to Korea’s beautiful natural environment and rich traditional culture. The students strolled along the 'Masil-gil' trail, a low-elevation path in Bukhansan National Park, where they learned about the park's ecological value through professional nature commentary. Following the walk, they visited Jinguansa Temple to participate in a traditional Korean tea ceremony, learning proper tea etiquette and enjoying moments of meditation and relaxation, which broadened their understanding of Korean heritage.
This exchange, set against the backdrop of nature and tradition, served as a meaningful opportunity for students from both countries to recognize the importance of environmental conservation and to deepen their mutual cultural understanding. Xavier International School will continue to support diverse exchange programs with our sister schools, fostering our students into global leaders with a deep appreciation for cultural diversity.
