History

February 9, 2002:	Seoul’s Board of Education authorizes the creation of the Lycée International Xavier, which belongs to the Madeleine Daniélou Centers’ network. (Madeleine Daniélou (1880-1956) founded the first private school for secondary education based on her teachings 100 years ago. Several more were then created, both in France and abroad.)
March 2, 2002:	Inauguration of the Lycée International Xavier (LIX) in Haehwa-dong, with Hélène Lebrun as its principal.
May 2005:	The school moves to Gugi-dong, its current location.
June 2007:	Hélène Lebrun retires.
Sept. 2007:	Odile Thibault becomes the school’s principal.
July 2012:	The school becomes affiliated with the MLF.
June 2013:	The primary school becomes state-certified (AEFE).
Sept. 2014:	Jérôme Pinot becomes the school’s principal.
Sept. 2017:	Opening of the preschool
June 2018:	The 6th grade (6e) becomes state-certified (AEFE).
